This issue of Individuals is devoted to a pair who work as a single artistic unit: Etam Cru.
Who are we talking about this time on Individuals?
Etam Cru, the duo made up of Bezt and Sainer. Two graffiti artists from Poland who have shaken up street art.
Bezt was born in 1987 in Turek, Poland, a town some 100 km from Lodz, where Sainer was born. The two met at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz, where they clicked from the very first moment.

Their work
Their work is known for large wall murals that can take up entire façades and several storeys.
Their use of colour is highly distinctive, mixing pastel tones with heavily saturated colours, which calls to mind last century’s illustration from Eastern European countries.
To achieve it, the paintings are made with acrylic and oil paint, rich in detail and chromatic range.
The subject matter of their work is also clearly shaped by the culture and folklore of that part of the world, ever present across all kinds of artistic expression.
