The Openartaward event took place on 23 November. Openartaward is an event that brings together and gives awards to designers and graphic design studios.
Since I entered with one of the design projects I’m proudest of, the outcome was being nominated and awarded, taking first prize.
The winners go on to appear in the annual book Openartaward puts together, featuring the award winning work in each of the categories.
The winning project is, no less, a logo design. A logo with meaning and personality.
Openartaward, the winning logo and the ceremony
On the winning logo
The logo in question is the one I created for the Shido Hàbitat project. Shido Hàbitat is a furniture shop based in Barcelona.
Here are a few images of it:

On the ceremony
Sadly I couldn’t attend the ceremony held on 23 November, so I decided to send a video thanking the organisers, along with my gratitude for the honour of being one of the winners.
The video was played during the awards ceremony held in Naples.
The award is credited to Code Barcelona, the graphic and web design company I run and the project I’m most focused on at the moment.

On the award
Now I’m waiting to receive the trophy and the printed copies of the books, in which the Shido Hàbitat logo will appear as one of the winners of the 2019 edition.
